The Jefferson Community Theater

The Jefferson Community Theater and the Jackson County Arts Council have been partners since our first year. The Arts Council helped stage and serve the dinner theater production, ART. Later the Jefferson Community Theater returned the favor by providing the stage crew and light and sound techs for the first DANCING WITH THE STARS-JACKSON COUNTY STYLE! Both non-profit organizations believe that participating in the Arts is good for the soul – for individuals and communities. Visual and Performing Arts are an essential part of any thriving community.

The President of the Jefferson Community Theater, Andy Garrison, likes to say that the theater is one place where “acting out” is encouraged! We encourage you to check out their website, www.jeffersoncommunitytheater.com and the fantastic productions that they have lined up.

CALL TO ARTISTS! 2014 Jefferson Holiday Market

2014 Jefferson Holiday Market
Dessert & Cider Reception
with Early Shopping

Friday, November 7, 7pm-9pm
Holiday Market
Saturday, November 8, 9am-5pm
Sunday, November 9, 12pm-4pm

In 2005, we decided to offer something to the community that would help get people into the spirit of giving; helping local vendors that had items to sell, and non-profit organizations during a time of the year when their funds are stretched. We are so grateful to our vendors and to our community for continuing to support the market and making each year better than the one before. With your help, we have accomplished much during our first nine years and we are so excited about our 10th year.
We are pleased to be extending you an invitation to participate in this year’s Jefferson Holiday Market.

We are going back to our Dessert & Cider Reception on Friday night. As well, we will be adding a wreath auction that will continue during the entire time of the Holiday Market. We are looking forward to our 10th year and we hope that with your help, this year will be our best year yet.

This year’s charity is Jackson County Family Connection. Family Connection brings community partners together to improve the well-being and health conditions of families through a collaborative system of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual supports. Proceeds from this year’s Market will be used for the ongoing projects that this group tackles.

Attached to this letter you will find the registration form and application rules. We have made a few changes to this form, so please take a look at it and let us know if you have any questions. Also, please be sure to completely read over the application rules. We will be enforcing these rules with the hopes of having a market that runs smoothly and is profitable for everyone.

We will be increasing the fees this year to $100 for a 10’ x 10’ space. We will also bring back the hallway booths which are a 4’ x 10’ space for $50. For our 10th anniversary we will be offering a $15 discount to return vendors from 2012 and/or 2013.
Once we receive your application form we will notify you via email/phone if you have been accepted in the market. Please feel free to call if you have not heard from us in a timely manner. Once we have the majority of vendors we will begin to place them into booth spaces within the facility. We try very hard to place vendors where they request and not near another vendor selling like items. Please understand that this is not an easy task and it takes a large amount of time. Once we have this done, we will not be moving vendors, even if you are unhappy with your location when you arrive for set-up.

Thank you for your support and interest in the Jefferson Holiday Market.
