JCAC Board of Directors – Past Board Members

President, Teddie Lohmeier is a retired Jackson County Teacher of the Gifted and is active in the Jefferson Lions Club and the Jackson Humane Society. Served as president of JCAC 2012-2017.

Vice President, Martha Babb is a life-long resident of Jackson County and a highly respected retired educator and media specialist with over 35 years of experience. Served as Vice president of JCAC 2012-14.

Vice President, Belinda Harris retired from Plaid Enterprises, and is an artist and art instructor. Served as Vice president of JCAC 2015-17.

Treasurer, Brenda White was Assistant Director of IT Capital Planning and Evaluation at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta and was an owner/broker in Real Estate. Served as treasurer of JCAC 2012-2014.

Treasurer, Amy Pinnell has a background in the travel industry, sales, marketing and banking. She currently serves as the Downtown Director of Braselton. Served as treasurer of JCAC 2015-2016.

Secretary, Sandra Seden was a professional painter and sculptor who has exhibited in galleries and is in collections throughout the Southeast. She was the co-owner of Gallery 39 in Buford, and was director of Satellite Gallery for the Gwinnett Council for the Arts. Served as secretary of JCAC 2012-2014.

Frances Byrd graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BA in Illustration. She currently serves on the planning board of the Commerce Folk to Fine Arts Festival and works out of her home studio. Frances has taught art and displayed her work in numerous galleries, art shows and exhibitions.

Krista Goodrich is the Founder and Lead Artist for Masterpiece Mixers Paint and Party Studios with locations in four states. Krista graduated from East Tennessee State University with degrees in Economics and French. She studied art for one semester at the Louvre in Paris, France.

Linda Foster is currently the Executive Director of Jackson County Family Connections. She also served as Vice President for Members’ Services at the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce for many years. Linda graduated from UGA with a BS in Dance Education.

Beth Laughinghouse has an impressive record of helping the city of Jefferson and Jackson County, and is currently serving as the director of Main Street Jefferson. She is also a board member of the Jefferson Community Theater. Served 2012-2014.

Don Lohmeier is a retired US Marine, former college instructor, aerial photographer, community volunteer, and Athens Area Military Officers Association Board Member. Served 2016-2017.

Becky Perry, an artist, works in the Perry Law Firm of Commerce, and was the organizer of the Tumbling Waters Society’s Art in the Park Festival. She is currently working with the Commerce Downtown Development Authority to stage their annual Folk to Fine Art Festival and Expo. Served 2012-2014.

Vicki Starnes is currently manager of the Crawford Long Museum and was with the Walt Disney World Company for 15 years. She also held a management position with Norcross Publishing Company and owned her own photo and memories preservation business. Served 2012-2014.
